    Week 200 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 31st March 2024.

    Club Stats. 3288 members collectively rode 108404 km in 3231 rides, climbing 588861 metres in 4998 hours!

    The number of members are up by 8 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 400 and 14 rode at least a 200.

    79 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    12 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 848 km.

    In second place is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu who rode 774 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh. He rode 741 km. He was third last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 135+ km…

    There are 8 women in the top 100 this week, 7 less than last week.

    Gareema Shankar from Delhi was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 435 km. She is 20th overall.

    Next up is Neha Tikam from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 300 km. She is 67th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Anamika Verma from Haryana who rode 251 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A few long rides this week from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Sidharth Mohan from Delhi for the longest ride. He did a 433 km long ride!

    Next up is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh having done a 372 km long ride.

    Third is Tijan Wilson from Uttar Pradesh, who did a 372 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 79 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Gokul Kumar from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 37.5 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Aditya Choudhury from Karnataka whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.3 kmph.

    Third is Abhishek Choudhary from Rajasthan averaging 36.3 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 9142 metres.

    Second is Biswadip Nag from West Bengal who climbed 6572 metres.

    Third is Devesh Joshi from Uttarakhand, who climbed 6198 metres during the week. He was second last week.
