    Week 204 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 28th April 2024.

    Club Stats. 3325 members collectively rode 118962 km in 3278 rides, climbing 598709 metres in 5369 hours!

    The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    15 rode at least a 200.

    74 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    10 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 897 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh who rode 833 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu. He rode 781 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has easier tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 190+ km…

    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 3 less than last week.

    Neha Tikam from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 319 km. She is 65th overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Bijurika Saha from West Bengal. Who rode an impressive 279 km.

    Third is Sheetal Chhetri from West Bengal who rode 236 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A few long rides this week from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Vibra Shal from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 363 km long ride!

    Next up is Mohit Handa from Delhi having done a 304 km long ride.

    Third is Shailender Ahlawat from Haryana, who did a 303 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 74 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Apurv Anand from Delhi who averaged an incredible 37 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Joel Sundaram from Karnataka whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.6 kmph.

    Third is Ankit Mallappa from USA averaging 36.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Uttarakhand!

    Climber of the week is Devesh Joshi from Uttarakhand having climbed 7307 metres. He was third last week.

    Second is Pahadi Paddler from Himachal Pradesh who climbed 6069 metres.

    Third is Anil Gurung from Uttarakhand, who climbed 5864 metres during the week.
