    Week 224 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 15th September 2024.


    Club Stats. 3475 members collectively rode 110949 km in 2796 rides, climbing 575762 metres in 5136 hours!

    The number of members are up by 10 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all unchanged.

    6 rider averaged more than 100 km a day.

    5 rode 500s. 42 rode at least a 200.

    65 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    11 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall


    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Sachin Vishnu Ghogare from Maharshtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1166 km.

    In second place is Atchut Yalavarthi from Telangana who rode 933 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by MSK Sreenivasan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 868 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 139+ km…

    There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, 5 less than last week.

    Jui Inamdar from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 335 km. She is 70th overall.

    Next up is Kamala R from Karnataka. Who rode an impressive 288 km. She is 97th overall.

    Third is Neha Tikam from Maharashtra who rode 260 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Hari Raju from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 565 km long ride!

    Next up is MD Jamal from Karnataka having done a 560 km long ride.

    Third is Senthilkumar G from Tamil Nadu, who did a 559 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 65 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

     

    Fastest of the lot is Shrey Agarwal from Delhi who averaged an incredible 38.6 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Sudhev MB from Kerala whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.7 kmph.

    Third is KPS Oberoi from Delhi averaging 34.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 6775 metres.

    Second is Agnivesh Patel from Karnataka who climbed 6679 metres.

    Third is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 5839 metres during the week.
