    Week 237 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 15th December 2024.

    Club Stats. 3545 members collectively rode 113925 km in 2857 rides, climbing 606503 metres in 5276 hours!

    The number of members are up by 6 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all unchanged.

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 900s. 33 rode at least a 200.

    63 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    22 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Deerendra CR from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1015 km.

    In second place is Ajinkya Bodke from Maharashtra who rode 1003 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh. He rode 1002 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 220+ km…
    There are 17 women in the top 100 this week, 6 more than last week.

    Neha Tarnacha from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 627 km. She is 15th overall. She was first last week as well.

    Next up is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 512 km. She is 29th overall. She was second last two weeks as well.

    Third is Kirann from Maharashtra who rode 501 km. She is 32nd overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Ajinkya Bodke from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 999 km long ride!

    Next up is Deerendra CR from Karnataka having done a 994 km long ride.

    Third is Dhanush Satyanarayan from Karnataka, who did a 606 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 63 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 41.2 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ramkrishna Patel from Madhya Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 40.9 kmph.

    Third is Prathviraj Singh Rathore from Madhya Pradesh averaging 40.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Deerendra CR from Karnataka having climbed 11186 metres.

    Second is Ajinkay Bodke from Maharashtra who climbed 10005 metres.

    Third is Ashwin Vig from Karnataka, who climbed 8915 metres during the week.
