Week 247 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd February 2025.
Club Stats. 3600 members collectively rode 119688 km in 3116 rides, climbing 692443 metres in 5505 hours!
The number of members are up by 8 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all constant.
6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.
1 rode a 1000. 48 rode at least a 200.
62 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.
25 climbed more than 4000 metres.

Arsalan Haidery from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1101 km.
In second place is Rajeshwar N Rao from Gujarat who rode 1059 km in the week.
Third spot is taken by Megha Jain from Punjab. She rode 986 km.
Leaderboard: Women
The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 256+ km…
There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, 3 more than last week.
Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 986 km. She is 3rd overall.
Next up is Sachida Yadav from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 524 km. She is 17th overall.
Third is Gitanjali Galange from Maharashtra who rode 480 km. She is 23rd overall.
Leaderboard: Longest Ride
Rides this week coming in from around the country!
Top spot goes to Rajeshwar N Rao from Gujarat for the longest ride. He did a 1059 km long ride!
Next up is Santhosh Reddy from Malaysia having done a 616 km long ride.
Third is Arsalan Haidery from Maharashtra, who did a 606 km long ride.
Leaderboard: Fastest
The top 62 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.
Fastest of the lot is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 38.8 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.
Second fastest for the week is Yogesh Saini from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.1 kmph. He was third fastest last week.
Third is Sangam Pattnaik from Chandigarh averaging 37.3 kmph over the week.
Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain
The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Malaysia!
Climber of the week is Santhosh Reddy from Malaysia having climbed 12202 metres.
Second is Udhay Asokan from Tamil Nadu who climbed 8304 metres. He was second last week as well.
Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 6529 metres during the week. He was third last week as well.
