    Week 251 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd March 2025.

    Club Stats. 3612 members collectively rode 115225 km in 3141 rides, climbing 610934 metres in 5207 hours!

    The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 1200. 28rode at least a 200.

    79 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    6 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Maddy Mayank from Chandigarh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1306 km.

    In second place is Rajesh Pai from Maharashtra who rode 872 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu. He rode 869 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 214+ km…
    There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, 2 more than last week.

    Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 327 km. She is 66th overall.

    Next up is Twinkle Kunwar from Rajasthan. Who rode an impressive 305 km. She is 77th overall.

    Third is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab who rode 300 km. She is 79th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Maddy Mayank from Chandigarh for the longest ride. He did a 1205 km long ride!

    Next up is Saurabh Sharma from Delhi having done a 465 km long ride.

    Third is Pradhap Antony from Tamil Nadu, who did a 413 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 79 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is KPS Oberoi from Delhi who averaged an incredible 38 kmph over the week! He was third fastest last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Yogesh Saini from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.4 kmph.

    Third is Sanjay Chobdar from Haryana averaging 36.3 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Himalayas!

    Climber of the week is Maddy Mayank from Chandigarh having climbed 10165 metres.

    Second is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra who climbed 7207 metres.

    Third is Udhay Asokan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 5951 metres during the week.
