    Week 257 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 4th May 2025.

    Club Stats. 3639 members collectively rode 115307 km in 2964 rides, climbing 645446 metres in 5167 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all unchanged.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 1000. 12rode at least a 200.

    77 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    10 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Sanjaykanth from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1015 km.

    In second place is Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh who rode 850 km in the week. He was second last week.

    Third spot is taken by Naresh Chavda from Maharashtra. He rode 738 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 193+ km…
    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 2 less than last week.

    Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 383 km. She is 32nd overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Vaishali Pawar from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 381 km. She is 33rd overall.

    Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who rode 312 km. She is 78th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from Karnataka!

    Top spot goes to Sanjaykanth from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1001 km long ride!

    Next up is Samad Hanbal from Karnakata having done a 301.7 km long ride.

    Third is Prakash M from Karnataka, who did a 301.5 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

     

    The top 77 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Tarun Yadav from Delhi who averaged an incredible 36.6 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Suriya Prakash from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.9 kmph.

    Third is Sanjay Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh averaging 35.8 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills Himalayas!

    Climber of the week is Aneesh VP from Haryana having climbed 12062 metres.

    Second is Sanjaykanth from Karnataka who climbed 9829 metres.

    Third is Anirudh Chadha from Delhi, who climbed 7390 metres during the week.
