Week 284 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 9th November 2025.
The number of members are up by 6 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all constant.
25 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.
4 rode 1200s. 43 rode at least a 200.
87 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.
31 climbed more than 4000 metres.
Incredible riding by everyone.

Leaderboard: Overall

Deepak Sharma from Delhi was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1680 km.
In second place is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu who rode 1674 km in the week. He was second last week.
Third spot is taken by Naveen Guna from Tamil Nadu. He rode 1659 km.
Leaderboard: Women
The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 236+ km…
There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 2 less than last week.
Rekha S from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1194 km. She is 19th overall. She was second last week.
Next up is Radhika Arora from Karnataka. Who rode an impressive 485 km. She is 39th overall.
Third is Simy Thomas from Kerala who rode 399 km. She is 48th overall.

Rides this week coming in from around the country!
Top spot goes to Samad Hanbal from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1215 km long ride!
Next up is Muhammed Adhil from Kerala having done a 1211 km long ride.
Third is Prathap Pandian from Tamil Nadu, who did a 1210 km long ride.
Leaderboard: Fastest
The top 81 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.
Fastest of the lot is Tushar Bakaya from Haryana who averaged an incredible 37.9 kmph over the week! He was first last week.
Second fastest for the week is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.6 kmph.
Third is Yogesh Saini from Haryana averaging 37.2 kmph over the week.
Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain
The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!
Climber of the week is Saiju DS from Kerala having climbed 9038 metres.
Second is Pratiyodh Agarwal from Telangana who climbed 8880 metres.
Third is Achyutha Krishna from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 7735 metres during the week.
