2021 Mountain Biking National Championships: 29th to 31st October

It is time to get ready for the 18th Senior, Junior & Sub-Junior National Mountain Bike Championships.

Where the best of the country will descend to pit their skills against one another. Everything that these athletes have been working for over the year, will culminate in those seconds they spend on the track. Draining their mental and physical reserves. Testing their fortitude. Pushing their limits and that of those around them.

The 2021 Mountain Biking National Championships will be held from the 29th to 31st of October in Pune, Maharashtra.

These racers have been going through rigorous training and then tough races in their respective State Selections. Those who have qualified in their states, will be proudly racing with their state colours.

We will bring on-ground reports from the races as they happen… And in-depth articles after the races. We have friends at the venue who will be ably assisting us in bringing all the scoops to you.

There will also be the supremely talented Sandip Sakharkar from Pixel Haveli who will be shooting and sharing the races. Watch out for some incredible content from him!

The race weekend will see a total of 18 events held. These are:

Elite Men (19 years and above)

1. 30 km Time Trial
2. 40 km Cross Country Mass Start
3. Downhill

Elite Women (19 years and above)

1. 20 km Time Trial
2. 30 km Cross Country Mass Start

Under-23 Men

1. 30 km Cross Country Olympic

Mix Relay

1. Mix Elite Team Relay (2 Elite Women and 2 Elite Men)
2. Mix Juniors Team Relay (2 Junior Boys and 2 Junior Girls)

Juniors Men (17-18 years)

1. 20 km Time Trial
2. 30 km Cross Country Mass Start

Juniors Women (17-18 years)

1. 15 km Time Trial
2. 20 km Cross Country Mass Start

Sub-Juniors Boys (15-16 years)

1. 10 km Time Trial
2. 20 km Cross Country

Sub-Junior Girls (15-16 years)

1. 10 km Time Trial
2. 15 km Cross Country Mass Start

Youth Boys (14 years and below)

1. 10 km Time Trial
2. 15 km Cross Country Mass Start

Youth Girls (14 years and below)

1. 10 km Time Trial
2. 15 km Cross Country Mass Start
