      Week 231 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 3rd November 2024.

      Club Stats. 3508 members collectively rode 113989 km in 2892 rides, climbing 605599 metres in 5172 hours!

      The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

      6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

      2 rode 1200s. 38 rode at least a 200.

      68 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

      15 climbed more than 4000 metres.

      Incredible riding by everyone.

      Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

      Leaderboard: Overall

      6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

      Adhil Muhammed from Kerala was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1273 km.

      In second place is Prem Raj from Kerala who rode 1202 km in the week.

      Third spot is taken by Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh. He rode 880 km. He was first last week.

      Leaderboard: Women

      The women’s leaderboard has got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 201+ km…
      There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, 1 more than last week.

      Gungeet Kaur from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 346 km. She is 61st overall.

      Next up is Neha Tarnacha from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 319 km. She is 81st overall. She was third last week.

      Third is Kamala R from Karnataka who rode 313 km. She is 86th overall.

      Leaderboard: Longest Ride

      Rides this week coming in from Tamil Nadu!

      Top spot goes to Adhil Muhammed from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 1235 km long ride!

      Next up is Prem Raj from Kerala having done a 1202 km long ride.

      Third is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra, who did a 617 km long ride.

      Leaderboard: Fastest

      The top 77 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

      Fastest of the lot is KPS Oberoi from Delhi who averaged an incredible 38.4 kmph over the week!

      Second fastest for the week is Tarun Yadav from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.9 kmph.

      Third is Sangam Pattnaik from Odisha averaging 37.4 kmph over the week.

      Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

      The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Kerala!

      Climber of the week is Adhil Muhammed from Kerala having climbed 8839 metres.

      Second is Prem Raj from Kerala who climbed 8791 metres.

      Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 7777 metres during the week.

        Week 232 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 10th November 2024.

        Club Stats. 3517 members collectively rode 134157 km in 3138 rides, climbing 694667 metres in 6168 hours!

        The number of members are up by 9 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

        11 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

        34 rode 600s. 74 rode at least a 200.

        59 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

        23 climbed more than 4000 metres.

        Incredible riding by everyone.

        In second place is KSK Senthil from Tamil Nadu who rode 978 km in the week.

        The women’s leaderboard has got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 225+ km…
        There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, 3 less than last week.

        Gareema Shankar from Delhi was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 702 km. She is 11th overall.

        Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 668 km. She is 18th overall.

        Third is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab who rode 360 km. She is 80th overall. She was first last week.

        Top spot goes to Saurabh Sharma from Delhi for the longest ride. He did a 615 km long ride!

        Next up is Rajan ATR from Karnataka having done a 611 km long ride.
