      Week 261 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 1st June 2025.

      Club Stats. 3654 members collectively rode 115914 km in 2867 rides, climbing 618156 metres in 5248 hours!

      The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

      9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

      7 rode a 400. 28 rode at least a 200.

      72 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

      13 climbed more than 4000 metres.

      Incredible riding by everyone.

      Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

      Leaderboard: Overall

      9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

      Achyutha Krishnan  from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 991 km. He was third last week.

      In second place is Shubham Gupta from Uttar Pradesh who rode 969 km in the week.

      Third spot is taken by Vibra Shal from Tamil Nadu. He rode 943 km. He was first last week.

      Leaderboard: Women

      The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 266+ km…
      There are 18 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

      Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 431 km. She is 34th overall. She was third last week.

      Next up is Swati Sablok from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 410 km. She is 37th overall. She was first last week.

      Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who rode 375 km. She is 49th overall.

      Leaderboard: Longest Ride

      Rides this week coming in from Tamil Nadu!

      Top spot goes to Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 420 km long ride!

      Next up is Karthick R from Tamil Nadu having done a 407 km long ride.

      Third is Janaeshwar K from Tamil Nadu, who did a 405 km long ride.

      Leaderboard: Fastest

      The top 72 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

      Fastest of the lot is Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 37.1 kmph over the week!

      Second fastest for the week is KPS Oberoi from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.4 kmph.

      Third is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh averaging 36.3 kmph over the week. He was first last week.

      Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

      The climbing leaderboard went to Germany!

      Climber of the week is John K Sunny from Germany having climbed 6591 metres.

      Second is Jasprit Paul from Himachal Pradesh who climbed 6475 metres.

      Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 6182 metres during the week. He was second last week.

        Week 262 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 8th June 2025.

        Club Stats. 3658 members collectively rode 125906 km in 3190 rides, climbing 680620 metres in 5773 hours!

        The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

        11 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

        1 rode a 1200. 46 rode at least a 200.

        80 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

        18 climbed more than 4000 metres.

        Incredible riding by everyone.
