Model name: Montra Downtown
Bought on: Feb 21
Place of purchase: Jaipur
Approx. no. of km clocked so far: 1000
Buying experience: It was usual experience. Finding Montra was tough as it was not available for many months.Other models considered at the time of purchase: Firefox Road Runner Pro D because of the front suspension
Reason for choosing this model: Firefox Road Runner Pro D was not available. The other alternative that was available, Firefox Rapide did not have disc brakes.Positives of this bike: Light weight, fun to ride, great color combination, good riding position for urban roads, and great pricing.
Negatives of this bike: It would have been great if this model was available with the front suspension and Shimano Acera instead of Tourney. I have been experiencing noise in crank and unable to resolve the same because of lockdown. Will I recommend this bike and why: Yes. The only other hybrid worth considering in this price segment is Firefox Rapide, and this one has disc brakes. If someone prefers a better gear system, Rapide is a better choice.Montra Downtown Owner Review: Technical Specifications
