      The National Road Cycling Championships 2025 are here. The races in this edition are being held in Odisha. The first day of action kicked off with Individual Time Trials to find the best time trialists of the country.

      Here are the results:

      Men Elite Individual Time Trial

      The Men’s Elite Individual Time Trial was once again dominated by Naveen John from Karnataka. His longevity and consistency is made obvious by the fact that he is 10 years older than the other podium finishers! In second place is Harshveer Singh Sekhon from Punjab and the final place on the podium was wrapped up by Manjeet Kumar from RSPB.

      Women Elite Individual Time Trial

      Harshita Jakhar from Rajasthan took the win in the Women Elite Individual Time Trial averaging 39.57 kmph over the 30 km course. She was joined on the podium by local girl, Swasti Singh from Odisha who took second just 19 seconds slower. While the final place on the podium was locked out by Pooja Danole as she finished another 22 seconds behind.

      Men’s Under-23 Individual Time Trial

      The young men of India who will soon be looking to move up to elite have a fight on their hands before they do so.

      Akshar Tyagi from Delhi took the win by clocking 45.55 kmph. Manav Sarda from Rajasthan was second around 14.5 seconds slower, while Raman from Haryana took the final spot on the podium another minute and a half down.

      Sub-Junior Girls Individual Time Trial

      Sub-Junior Boys Individual Time Trial

      Lokesh Choudhary from Rajasthan took the win in the sub-junior boys ITT as he clocked 42.98 kmph. Sunny from Haryana was second around 17 seconds slower. Shubham Godara from Rajasthan took the final spot on the podium another 12 seconds adrift.
