The National Road Cycling Championships 2025 are here. The races in this edition are being held in Odisha. The first day of action kicked off with Individual Time Trials to find the best time trialists of the country.
Here are the results:
Men Elite Individual Time Trial
The Men’s Elite Individual Time Trial was once again dominated by Naveen John from Karnataka. His longevity and consistency is made obvious by the fact that he is 10 years older than the other podium finishers! In second place is Harshveer Singh Sekhon from Punjab and the final place on the podium was wrapped up by Manjeet Kumar from RSPB.
Women Elite Individual Time TrialHarshita Jakhar from Rajasthan took the win in the Women Elite Individual Time Trial averaging 39.57 kmph over the 30 km course. She was joined on the podium by local girl, Swasti Singh from Odisha who took second just 19 seconds slower. While the final place on the podium was locked out by Pooja Danole as she finished another 22 seconds behind.
Men’s Under-23 Individual Time Trial
The young men of India who will soon be looking to move up to elite have a fight on their hands before they do so.
Akshar Tyagi from Delhi took the win by clocking 45.55 kmph. Manav Sarda from Rajasthan was second around 14.5 seconds slower, while Raman from Haryana took the final spot on the podium another minute and a half down.

Sub-Junior Girls Individual Time Trial
Sub-Junior Boys Individual Time Trial
Lokesh Choudhary from Rajasthan took the win in the sub-junior boys ITT as he clocked 42.98 kmph. Sunny from Haryana was second around 17 seconds slower. Shubham Godara from Rajasthan took the final spot on the podium another 12 seconds adrift.

Men’s Elite Road Race
The 160 km race was won in a sprint finish by Vishavjeet Singh of RSPB, with Niraj Kumar also from RSPB in second and Siddhesh Patil from Maharashtra in third.
Women’s Elite Road Race
Ganga Dandin from Karnataka won the 80 km race. She was followed across the finish line by Harshita Jakhar from Rajasthan and Pooja Danole from Maharashtra.
Sub-Junior Girl’s Road Race
Aasha Rani from Haryana took the win with Hashini K from Tamil Nadu took silver and Gayatri Kittur from Karnataka took bronze in the sub-junior girl’s road race over 35 km.
Women Junior Road Race
Anjali Jakhar from Rajasthan took the win the Women’s Junior Road Race. She was joined on the podium by Suhani Kumari from Bihar and Shravani Parit from Maharashtra.
Sub-Junior Boys Road Race
The Sub-Junior Boy’s Road Race was won by Kshaunish Valiparambil from Maharashtra. Lokesh Choudhary from Rajasthan took silver and Pranesh S from Tamil Nadu took the final place on the podium.
Women Junior Team Time Trial
Team Rajasthan took the win in the Women Junior Team Time Trial, followed by Team Maharashtra and Team Karnataka.
Sub-Junior Girls Team Time Trial
Team Maharashtra took gold in the Sub-Junior Girls Team Time Trial. Silver was won by Team Rajasthan and the final place on the podium was won by Team Manipur.
Sub-Junior Boys Team Time Trial
Team Rajasthan won gold in the sub-junior boys team time trial. Silver was grabbed by Team Karnataka and the final place on the podium was taken by Team Haryana.
Men Junior Individual Time Trial
Manish Nehra from Haryana took the win in the Men Junior ITT. Shrinivas Rajaput from Karnataka took second place while Radhakishan Hudda from Rajasthan took the final place on the podium.
Youth Girls Team Time Trial
Team Rajasthan won the Youth Girls TTT. Team Haryana took silver and Team Odisha finished on the final place on the podium.
Youth Boys Team Time Trial
Team Haryana took the win in the Youth Boys TTT. They were followed by Team Rajasthan and Team Tamil Nadu.
Elite Mixed Team Relay
Team RSPB took the win in the Elite Mixed Team Relay. Team Rajasthan and Team Maharashtra took silver and bronze respectively.
Women Junior Individual Time Trial
Anjali Jakhar from Rajasthan won gold in the women junior ITT. Shobha from Haryana took silver, while Jui Narkar from Maharashtra won bronze.
Youth Boys Individual Time Trial
Tanish from Haryana won gold in the Youth Boys ITT. Dharma Ram Saran from Rajasthan grabbed silver, they were joined on the podium by Vinesh R from Tamil Nadu.
Youth Girls Individual Time Trial
Dimple from Rajasthan took the win in the Youth Girls ITT. Teammate Priyanka Dudi from Rajasthan stood on the second step of the podium, while Gajal from Haryana won bronze.
Men Junior Road Race
Harish Dombhale from Maharashtra won the Men Junior Road Race. Sanjay from Tamil Nadu grabbed silver. Rajan Smith A from Tamil Nadu was the final rider on the podium.

Men Elite Criterium
The Men’s Elite Criterium Race was won by Sreenath Lakshmikanth from Tamil Nadu, followed by Manav Sarda of Rajasthan and the final spot on the podium was taken by Mahaveer Saran of Rajasthan.
Women’s Elite Criterium
Soumya Antapur from RSPB took gold in the women’s elite criterium. She was followed by Swasti Singh of Odisha and Ganga Dandin of Karnataka.
