This is, frankly, a very, very long shot in the dark. However, if you don’t ask then you’ll never find out.
My son and I are doing a cycle tour of Rajasthan Jan/Feb from Delhi. The plan is to return in Oct/Nov 2024 for another cycle tour. In between I’d rather not face the many hassles of taking the bicycles back by air to my videshi home. So I am exploring if there is a permanently Delhi resident Cycling Monks user who can use and store or just store these bicycles in the intervening period.
The bicycles are heavy steel frames ones like this. The size of bicycles are aimed at cyclists between 5’4″ to 5’9″.
To be more precise: My son and I are doing a cycle tour of Rajasthan Jan/Feb from Delhi using two touring bicycles transported with us from Wales to Delhi.

If you find somebody in Delhi to keep your bikes that would be fantastic.
If not, please feel free to ship your bikes to Kanpur. It is roughly 500 km from New Delhi. I have more than enough place to park your bikes for 10 months. It will be parked next to my steel frame Fuji Touring 🙂
And whenever you plan your return to India, it can be shipped to the address, wherever you plan to start your next ride.
The packing of the bicycles and shipping costs will have to be borne by you of course. There’s an excellent bicycle shipping service I enjoyed using, which is run by a cyclist. I got my bikes shipped from Leh to Goa using his services.

Thanks for the offer alex3313. I admit the title of the post suggests that I need the use of bicycles, however it was about the use of my bicycles for 10 months (the period before I returned to Delhi to recommence cycle touring). At any rate I availed of Avinash’s offer of storing in Kanpur.
