Thank you for the suggestions but as far as I know its a problem with the brakes. The bearings seem to be completely fine. It happens only when using the brakes and not even hard braking, even a fourth of the way and this happens.
It does have the tracks on the rims but it doesn’t have the mounts. Just checked.
Do you have any other ideas? Could it be the axle?

The entire front column including the handlebar just starts shuddering. I have swapped the entire caliper, new pads, new cables etc. if that helps.
Yeah it was a mistake, it was quite great for the first year or so and then the novelty factor wore off and as problems like this started popping up, I’ve found out that it actually is really troublesome and expensive to fix.
Can I get it converted to a conventional rim-brake? Will it have reduced performance?
