- 04/09/2020 at 13:07 #4306BTwin Triban 100 owner review by Hiren Ravindranath Parkar. He shares his experience of buying and owning the bike over 1000 km and 9 months.Hiren has been cycling since childhood and has 5 different types of bikes. (fixed, MTB, hybrid and road bike). Here’s his thoughts on the bike.Last year I have bought TRIBAN 100 on 1st December, 2019 from Decathlon Store, Atria Mall, Mumbai.Approx. no. of kilometres clocked so far: 1344 kmBuying Experience: Good. Decathlon also gives good service after buying.Other models considered: Hero Eclipse road bikeReason for choosing this model: Hero Eclipse has a metal body it was heavy and not really a entry level road bike. So I finally chose TRIBAN 100 and I am happy with it.Positives of this bike: Road bikes are well known for speed and less weight. Every time I go for ride it gives me different vibe.Negatives of this bike: Some people will find this bike bad because of shifting gears on handlebar.I don’t have objection for that because I don’t change gear too much so it is not annoying for me.Will you recommend this bike and why?: Yes, I would like to recommend this bike whoever have low budget. But want at least good entry level road bike so it would be a great deal.
You can check out the BTwin Triban 100 on the Decathlon website. This model is being phased out with the new Triban RC 100 being introduced.
