BTwin Triban 100 owner review by Hiren Ravindranath Parkar. He shares his experience of buying and owning the bike over 1000 km and 9 months.
      BTwin Triban 100 Owner Review
Hiren has been cycling since childhood and has 5 different types of bikes. (fixed, MTB, hybrid and road bike). Here’s his thoughts on the bike.
Last year I have bought TRIBAN 100 on 1st December, 2019 from Decathlon Store, Atria Mall, Mumbai.
Approx. no. of kilometres clocked so far: 1344 km
Buying Experience: Good. Decathlon also gives good service after buying.
Other models considered: Hero Eclipse road bike
Reason for choosing this model: Hero Eclipse has a metal body it was heavy and not really a entry level road bike. So I finally chose TRIBAN 100 and I am happy with it.
Positives of this bike: Road bikes are well known for speed and less weight. Every time I go for ride it gives me different vibe.
Negatives of this bike: Some people will find this bike bad because of shifting gears on handlebar.
I don’t have objection for that because I don’t change gear too much so it is not annoying for me.
Will you recommend this bike and why?: Yes, I would like to recommend this bike whoever have low budget. But want at least good entry level road bike so it would be a great deal.

You can check out the BTwin Triban 100 on the Decathlon website. This model is being phased out with the new Triban RC 100 being introduced.

If you have the Triban 100, you can share your experiences as well below. And if you’d like to know more about the bike, drop a question below for Hiren to answer!

More such ownership experiences coming up soon on CyclingMonks.com. If you’d like to share a review of a cycle or accessory, feel free to do so. You are helping out the cycling community in India to make a more informed decision while purchasing their dream bike.
