    Week 309 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 3rd May 2026.

    Club Stats. 3876 members collectively rode 105800 km in 2800 rides, climbing 573532 metres in 4725 hours!

    The number of members are up by 3 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all constant.

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 600. 21 rode at least a 200.

    69 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    11 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone. Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Ram B from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 911 km.

    In second place is Rohit Chandrashekar from Karnataka who rode 839 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 826 km. He was first last week.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 189+ km…
    There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, 1 less than last week.
    Swati Sablok from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 503 km. She is 7th overall. She was first last week as well.
    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 405 km. She is 27th overall. She was third last week.
    Third is Rajlaxmi Teli from Maharashtra who rode 376 km. She is 37th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Vivek R from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 604 km long ride!

    Next up is Rohit Chandrashekar from Karnataka having done a 546 km long ride.

    Third is Gagan N, who did a 410 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 69 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Vishvesh Gupta from Haryana who averaged an incredible 37.9 kmph over the week! He was first last week as well.

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjay Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.2 kmph.

    Third is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh averaging 36.7 kmph over the week. He was third last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu  having climbed 10117 metres. He was first last week as well.

    Second is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra who climbed 9894 metres.

    Third is Abhilash LR from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 7426 metres during the week.
