    Week 90 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 20th February 2022.

    Club Stats. 1798 members collectively rode 111719 km in 3068 rides, climbing 570163 metres in 5123 hours!

    The number of members are up by 12 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 291 km during the week!

    There were 6 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    3 rode 600s, 37 rode at least a 200.

    50 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 13 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 861 km.

    In second place is Mrudul K from Kerala who rode 823 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Jignesh Agrawal from Gujarat. He rode 822 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten even more competitive. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 205+ km…

    Rajikrishna Nair from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 668 km. She is 7th overall. She has been at the top for the last three weeks.

    Next up is Swati Sablok from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 607 km. She is 15th overall.

    Third is Megha Jain from Punjab who rode 451 km. She is 34th overall. She was second last week.

    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 2 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Brevets are happening around the country.

    Top spot goes to Swati Sablok from Punjab for the longest ride. She did a 607 km long ride!

    Next up is Jignesh Agrawal from Gujarat having done a 603.8 km long ride as well.

    Third is Varun Jain from Chandigarh, who did a 603.7 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 50 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 39.5 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.7 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Vivek Chadha from Delhi averaging 35.2 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Mizoram!

    Climber of the week is Rj Mesak from Mizoram having climbed 8198 metres.

    Second is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra who climbed 7557 metres.

    Third is Mrudul K from Kerala, who climbed 5606 metres during the week.
