    Week 91 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 27th February 2022.

    Club Stats. 1823 members collectively rode 120803 km in 3122 rides, climbing 579081 metres in 5548 hours!

    The number of members are up by 25 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 328 km during the week!

    There were 20 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    3 rode 1000s, 15 rode 600s, 57 rode at least a 200.

    57 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 13 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    20 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Vaseem from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1305 km.

    In second place is Varun Vignesh from Tamil Nadu who rode 1239 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Kirit Kokje from Maharashtra. He rode 1175 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten even more competitive. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 230+ km…

    Priyanka Agarwal from Haryana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 840 km. She is 7th overall.

    Next up is Rajikrishna Nair from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 788 km. She is 13th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Naazia Farhein from Tamil Nadu who rode 693 km. She is 22nd overall.

    There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 3 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Brevets are happening around the country. BIG Brevets!

    Top spot goes to Vaseem from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 1198 km long ride!

    Next up is Varun Vignesh from Tamil Nadu having done a 1186 km long ride as well.

    Third is Rahul Paul from West Bengal, who did a 1040 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 57 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 38.3 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Anthony from Chhattisgarh  whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.7 kmph.

    Third is Manav Dewan from Delhi averaging 35.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Tamil Nadu!

    Climber of the week is Vaseem from Tamil Nadu having climbed 9665 metres.

    Second is Kirit Kokje from Maharashtra who climbed 9131 metres.

    Third is Varun Vignesh from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 8129 metres during the week.
