    Week 97 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 10th April 2022.

    Club Stats. 1928 members collectively rode 103581 km in 3003 rides, climbing 559809 metres in 4726 hours!

    The number of members are up by 27 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 241 km during the week!

    There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    4 rode  1000s, 17 rode at least a 200.

    54 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 13 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1039 km.

    In second place is Raj Kumar from Tamil Nadu who rode 1032 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by NH Nandu from Karnataka. He rode 1020 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten less competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 197+ km…

    Naazia Farhein from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 554 km. She is 11th overall.

    Next up is Ishika Gupta from Delhi. Who rode an impressive 490 km. She is 13th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Damanpreet Kaur Romana from Punjab who rode 276 km. She is 68th overall.

    There are 9 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    BIG BIG rides this week in Karnataka.

    Top spot goes to NH Nandu from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1020 km long ride!

    Next up is Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka having done a 1011 km long ride.

    Third is Subu Narayana from Tamil Nadu, who did a 1008 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 54 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Saikrishna from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 43.5 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 41.1 kmph. He was second last week as well.

    Third is Mayank Tripathi from Canada averaging 40.2 kmph over the week. He was first last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Karnataka!

    Climber of the week is Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka having climbed 9388 metres.

    Second is RJ Mesak from Mizoram who climbed 9350 metres. He was third last week.

    Third is Subu Narayana from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 9019 metres during the week.
