    Week 103 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd May 2022.

    Club Stats. 2080 members collectively rode 110735 km in 3173 rides, climbing 559879 metres in 5098 hours!

    The number of members are up by 24 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 266 km during the week!

    There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    2 rode a 300. 14 rode at least a 200.

    51 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 7 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1549 km.

    In second place is Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh who rode 1221 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Megha Jain from Punjab. She rode 1021 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 220+ km…

    Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1021 km. She is 3rd overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 697 km. She is 10th overall. She was second last week as well.

    Third is Navalpreet Kaur from Uttar Pradesh who rode 592 km. She is 17th overall. She is a new entrant to the club.

    There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A mixed bag of double centurions from different corners of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh for the longest ride. He did a 349km long ride!

    Next up is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu having done a 347 km long ride. He was third last week.

    Third is Megha Jain from Punjab, who did a 282 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 51 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 42.8 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 39.8 kmph.

    Third is Nishant Gugnani from Delhi averaging 38.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to West Bengal!

    Climber of the week is Biswadip Nag from West Bengal having climbed 9058 metres. He was second last week.

    Second is Sagar Shirbhate from Maharashtra who climbed 6895 metres.

    Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 6794 metres during the week.
