    Week 115 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 14th August 2022.

    Club Stats. 2329 members collectively rode 112347 km in 2813 rides, climbing 604400 metres in 5380 hours!

    The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 273 km during the week!

    There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    3 rode 600s, 10 rode 400s, 32 rode at least a 200.

    58 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 16 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Kirit Kokje from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1198 km.

    In second place is Nayan from Gujarat who rode 1143 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Jein Varghese from Kerala. He rode 905 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 194+ km…

    Agrima Sandhu from Haryana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 347 km. She is 63rd overall.

    Next up is Damanpreet Kaur Romana from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 337 km. She is 65th overall.

    Third is Swati Sablok from Maharashtra who rode 301 km. She is 83rd overall. She was third last week as well.

    There are 21 women in the top 100 this week, 7 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some BIG rides coming in from Karnataka.

    Top spot goes to Murali Iyer from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 620 km long ride!

    Next up is Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka having done a 611 km long ride.

    Third is Shain from Kerala, who did a 608 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 58 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu  who averaged an incredible 38.8 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Yajat Gulati from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.8 kmph.

    Third is Jineesh Kumar from USA averaging 35 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to United Kingdom!

    Climber of the week is Kirit Kokje from Maharashtra having climbed 12484 metres.

    Second is Nayan from Gujarat who climbed 11479 metres.

    Third is Abhinav Rawat from Uttarakhand, who climbed 6802 metres during the week.
