    Week 120 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 18th September 2022.

    Club Stats. 2410 members collectively rode 105725 km in 2855 rides, climbing 528720 metres in 4848 hours!

    The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 241 km during the week!

    There were 12 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    6 rode 1200s, 2 rode 1000s, 1 rode a 600, 6 rode 400s, 6 rode 300s, 33 rode at least a 200.

    48 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 14 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    12 riders averaged more than 100 km a day. Tamil Nadu wiped the board clean!

    Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1292.9 km.

    In second place is Arun A from Tamil Nadu who rode 1292.6 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Kalees Waran from Tamil Nadu. He rode 1262 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 175+ km…

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1224 km. She is 4th overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 313 km. She is 57th overall.

    Third is Swati Sablok from Maharashtra who rode 304 km. She is 61st overall.

    There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 3 less than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Again Tamil Nadu swept the board!

    Top spot goes to Arun A from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 1218.9 km long ride!

    Next up is Arun Kumar from Tamil Nadu having done a 1218.6 km long ride.

    Third is Kalees Waran from Tamil Nadu, who did a 1218.6 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 48 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Hemings from Karnataka who averaged an incredible 37.5 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Shrey Agarwal from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 34.8 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu averaging 34.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Mizoram!

    Climber of the week is RJ Mesak from Mizoram having climbed 10392 metres. He was third last week.

    Second is Bhandari G from Uttarakhand who climbed 5766 metres.

    Third is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh, who climbed 5411 metres during the week.
