    Week 125 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd October 2022.

    Club Stats. 2482 members collectively rode 109013 km in 3156 rides, climbing 604463 metres in 5129 hours!

    The number of members are up by 10 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 258 km during the week!

    There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    2 rode 600s, 2 rode 400s, 21 rode at least a 200.

    59 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 12 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1013 km.

    In second place is Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh who rode 874 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Samad Hanbal from Karnataka. He rode 816 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride just 182+ km…

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 704 km. She is 9th overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 457 km. She is 17th overall.

    Third is Rutu Bhamare from Maharashtra who rode 337 km. She is 50th overall.

    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 5 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some long rides coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Tenny V from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 621 km long ride!

    Next up is Prajod Sunny from Kerala having done a 600 km long ride.

    Third is Atchut Yalavarthi from Telangana, who did a 415 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 59 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace. The top 2 remained unchanged!

    Fastest of the lot is  Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 42.1 kmph over the week! He was first last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.2 kmph. He was second last week as well.

    Third is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra averaging 35.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Mizoram. Again!

    Climber of the week is RJ Mesak from Mizoram having climbed 10548 metres. He was first last week as well.

    Second is Jaideep Singh Kandari from Uttarakhand who climbed 7042 metres.

    Third is Samad Hanbal from Karnataka, who climbed 6390 metres during the week.
