    Week 127 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 6th November 2022.

    Club Stats. 2521 members collectively rode 110534 km in 3086 rides, climbing 631919 metres in 5224 hours!

    The number of members are up by 12 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 317 km during the week!

    There were 14 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    7 rode 600s, 94 rode at least a 200.

    38 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 23 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    14 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Nithin Kumar from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1538 km.

    In second place is Anantha Krishnan from Kerala who rode 1529 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Ganesh R from Karnataka. He rode 1524 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 258+ km…

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 635 km. She is 18th overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Jui Inamdar from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 491 km. She is 28th overall.

    Third is Prachi Bhatt from Gujarat who rode 468 km. She is 32nd overall.

    There are 17 women in the top 100 this week, 6 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Number one goes to the finest endurance cyclist in India, as he was competing in USA.

    Top spot goes to Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 688 km long ride! And this was done in 24 hours!

    Next up is Nithin Kumar from Karnataka having done a 622 km long ride.

    Third is Sooraj Ravi from Kerala, who did a 612 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 38 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 40.5 kmph over the week! He was first last three weeks.

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjeev Ramki from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.1 kmph.

    Third is Michael Joseph from Tamil Nadu averaging 34.2 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Karnataka.

    Climber of the week is Ganesh R from Karnataka having climbed 11778 metres.

    Second is Naveen Joseph from Kerala who climbed 10825 metres.

    Third is Nithin Kumar from Karnataka, who climbed 10267 metres during the week.
