    Week 134 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 25th December 2022.

    Club Stats. 2608 members collectively rode 124816 km in 3171 rides, climbing 680344 metres in 5933 hours!

    The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 322 km during the week!

    There were 16 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    1 rode a 1000, 3 rode 600s, and 54 rode at least a 200.

    42 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 23 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    17 riders averaged more than 100 km a day. 3 rode more than 1000 km this week.

    Rajikrishna R Nair from Maharashtra was top of the charts. She rode an incredible 1271 km.

    In second place is Mrudul K from Kerala who rode 1107 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu. He rode 1064 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 178+ km…

    Rajikrishna R Nair from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1271 km. She is 1st overall as well.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 647 km. She is 20th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Bijurika Saha from West Bengal who rode 410 km. She is 54th overall.

    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of 600s coming in from different parts of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Rajikrishna R Nair from Maharashtra for the longest ride. She did a 1236 km long ride!

    Next up is Krishna Chaitanya Sakinam from Telangana having done a 602 km long ride.

    Third is GK Fat Rider from Andhra Pradesh, who did a 600.4 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 42 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ansh Dhopte from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 35.4 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Rohit Linjhara from New Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 34.9 kmph.

    Third is Zeeshan from Karnataka averaging 34.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Tamil Nadu.

    Climber of the week is Umashankar from Tamil Nadu having climbed 8772 metres.

    Second is Kirit Kokje from Maharashtra who climbed 7677 metres.

    Third is Mrudul K from Kerala, who climbed 7448 metres during the week.
