    Week 142 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 19th February 2023.

    Club Stats. 2724 members collectively rode 105771 km in 3027 rides, climbing 549739 metres in 4891 hours!

    The number of members are up by 8 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 272 km during the week!

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    3 rode 1200s, 11 rode 600s and 33 rode at least a 200.

    65 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 15 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Ganesh R from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1274 km.

    In second place is Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu who rode 1232 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka. He rode 1232 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 183+ km…

    Bijurika Saha from West Bengal was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 665 km. She is 7th overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 617 km. She is 12th overall.

    Third is Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat who rode 376 km. She is 44th overall.

    There are 9 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from different parts of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1217 km long ride!

    Next up is Ganesh R from Karnataka having done a 1217 km long ride.

    Third is Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu, who did a 1203 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 65 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Synclair Dsouza from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 39.4 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.8 kmph.

    Third is Hrejul Sekhar from Kerala averaging 35.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Karnataka!

    Climber of the week is Ganesh R from Karnataka having climbed 10492 metres.

    Second is Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka who climbed 9795 metres.

    Third is Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 8743 metres during the week.
