    Week 150 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 16th April 2023.

    Club Stats. 2836 members collectively rode 130097 km in 3443 rides, climbing 727355 metres in 6039 hours!

    The number of members are up by 11 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    4 rode 600s and 42 rode at least a 200.

    74 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 25 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1177 km.

    In second place is Balraj Singh Chauhan from Punjab who rode 891 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu. He rode 822 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten difficult this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 234+ km…

    There are 12 women in the top 100 this week, 1 less than last week.

    Alo Chatterjee from West Bengal was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 518 km. She is 24th overall. She is a new entrant to the leaderboard and what a way to make a mark!

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 494 km. She is 31stoverall. She was second last week.

    Third is Vidhya from Tamil Nadu who rode 301 km. She is 99th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from Karnataka this week.

    Top spot goes to Avinash Singh Sadana from Gujarat for the longest ride. He did a 675 km long ride!

    Next up is Aniket Parmar from Gujarat having done a 666 km long ride.

    Third is Balraj Singh Chauhan from Punjab, who did a 602 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 74 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 34.9 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Aviral Singh from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 34.9 kmph.

    Third is Andrew Raistrick from Tamil Nadu averaging 34.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Himalayas!

    Climber of the week is Harsh Tomar from Jammu & Kashmir having climbed 12264 metres.

    Second is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu who climbed 11204 metres.

    Third is John K Sunny from Kerala, who climbed 10131 metres during the week.
