    Week 154 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 14th May 2023.

    Club Stats. 2877 members collectively rode 126265 km in 3568 rides, climbing 658327 metres in 5827 hours!

    The number of members are up by 6 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 300 and 16 rode at least a 200.

    68 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 6 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 972 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Gopaal Agaarwal from Uttar Pradesh who rode 950 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by MSK Sreenivasan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 728 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougherthis week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 249+ km…

    There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, 7 more than last week.

    Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 600 km. She is 8th overall.

    Next up is Miruthula Gopu from Tamil Nadu. Who rode an impressive 356 km. She is 45th overall.

    Third is Rohini Bhamare from Maharashtra who rode 309 km. She is 76th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Summer’s here and nobody is doing looooong rides anymore!

    Top spot goes to Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 302 km long ride!

    Next up is Ramkrishna Patel from Madhya Pradesh having done a 267 km long ride.

    Third is Koushik Saha from Maharashtra, who did a 254 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 68 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Andrew Raistrick from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 36.4 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjeev Ramki from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.4 kmph.

    Third is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh averaging 34.8 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 7054 metres.

    Second is Jayaprakash Narayanasamy from Karnataka who climbed 6420 metres.

    Third is Gopaal Agaarwal from Uttar Pradesh, who climbed 5970 metres during the week.
