    Week 162 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 9th July 2023.

    Club Stats. 2954 members collectively rode 109439 km in 2925 rides, climbing 566323 metres in 5156 hours!

    The number of members are up by 9 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 400 and 25 rode at least a 200.

    62 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 16 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Josh Haleb James from Telangana was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1561.7 km.

    In second place is Josses Jude James from Telangana who rode 1561.6 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Albi Varghese from Telangana. He rode 1496 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 233+ km…

    There are 12 women in the top 100 this week, 5 more than last week.

    Rekha S from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 682 km. She is 11th overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 517 km. She is 20th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Kamala R from Karnataka who rode 405 km. She is 35th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A solitary 400 coming in from Telangana this week.

    Top spot goes to Vandana Dhavate from Telangana for the longest ride. She did a 417 km long ride!

    Next up is Yogesh Bhat from Maharashtra having done a 310 km long ride.

    Third is KSK from Tamil Nadu, who did a 303 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 62 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 36.1 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Joel Sundaram from Karnataka whose weekly average is a fantastic 34.7 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Vivek Chadha from Delhi averaging 34.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Neel Shivakumar from Karnataka having climbed 8327metres. He was first last week as well.

    Second is Hitesh Sablok from Haryana who climbed 6578 metres.

    Third is Soma Sekhar Raichur from Telangana, who climbed 6309 metres during the week.
