    Week 202 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 14th April 2024.

    Club Stats. 3299 members collectively rode 121534 km in 3267 rides, climbing 641778 metres in 5584 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    19 rode at least a 200.

    84 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    12 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1122 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh who rode 982 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Vibra Shal from Tamil Nadu. He rode 817 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 170+ km…

    There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, 2 more than last week.

    Rekha S from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 266 km.

    Next up is Neha Tikam from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 264 km. She was second last week as well.

    Third is Parinita SS from Karnataka who rode 253 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A few long rides this week from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Mohit Handa from Delhi for the longest ride. He did a 618 km long ride!

    Next up is Hitesh Sablok from Haryana having done a 604 km long ride.

    Third is Balachandar S from Tamil Nadu, who did a 564 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 84 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Gokul Kumar from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 38.9 kmph over the week! He was third last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Mayank Tripathi from Canada whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.5 kmph.

    Third is Aditya Choudhary from Karnataka averaging 36.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 6383 metres. He was KOM last two weeks as well.

    Second is Rishi Saini from West Bengal who climbed 6565 metres.

    Third is Ankit T from Uttarakhand, who climbed 5935 metres during the week.
