    Week 203 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 21st April 2024.

    Club Stats. 3310 members collectively rode 116578 km in 3209 rides, climbing 614955 metres in 5339 hours!

    The number of members are up by 11 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    18 rode at least a 200.

    74 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    12 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1053 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Anil Gurung from Uttarakhand who rode 751 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by MSK Sreenivasan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 748 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 199+ km…

    There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 1 more than last week.

    Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 396 km. She is 32nd overall.

    Next up is Neha Tikam from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 379 km. She was second last week as well. She is 39th overall.

    Third is Rekha S from Telangana who rode 372 km. She was first last week. She is 45th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A few long rides this week from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala for the longest ride. She did a 396 km long ride!

    Next up is Pavan Madhusudan from Karnataka having done a 310 km long ride.

    Third is Gnana V from Tamil Nadu, who did a 223 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 74 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 37.7 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Aditya Choudhary from Karnataka whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.8 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Tushar Anand from Delhi averaging 36.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Darjeeling!

    Climber of the week is Hemant Poudel from West Bengal having climbed 9990 metres.

    Second is Pavan Madhusudan from Karnataka who climbed 8976 metres.

    Third is Devesh Joshi from Uttarakhand, who climbed 6684 metres during the week.
