    Week 212 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd June 2024.

    Club Stats. 3392 members collectively rode 107477 km in 2982 rides, climbing 571301 metres in 4999 hours!

    The number of members are up by 9 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    7 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 500. 21 rode at least a 200.

    60 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    6 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    7 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Anil Gurung from Uttarakhand was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 861 km.

    In second place is Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh who rode 778 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Pradish Sandanaraj from Tamil Nadu. He rode 755 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 141+ km…

    There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 4 more than last week.

    Neha Tikam from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 315 km. She is 52nd overall. She was first last week as well.

    Next up is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 296 km. She is 63rd overall.

    Third is Katyayani Bhargav from Madhya Pradesh who rode 284.9 km. She is 76th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Many super long rides this week from Karnataka!

    Top spot goes to Shan Buddy from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 530 km long ride!

    Next up is Prathap Pandian from Tamil Nadu having done a 309 km long ride.

    Third is Raghav Kharche from Maharashtra, who did a 300 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 60 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Gokul Kumar from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 38.2 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Tijan Wilson from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 36 kmph.

    Third is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu averaging 35.9 kmph over the week. He was third last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 6177 metres.

    Second is Anil Gurung from Uttarakhand who climbed 5757 metres.

    Third is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 4802 metres during the week.
