    Week 244 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 2nd February 2025.

    Club Stats. 3581 members collectively rode 109143 km in 3044 rides, climbing 622591 metres in 5010 hours!

    The number of members are up by 5 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    2 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 600s. 16 rode at least a 200.

    54 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    21 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    2 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Pratiyodh Agarwal from Telangana was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 812 km.

    In second place is Dhananjai from Tamil Nadu who rode 756 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Balraj Singh Chauhan from Punjab. He rode 659 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 135+ km…
    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 6 more than last week.

    Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 396 km. She is 24th overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 292 km. She is 86th overall. She was third last week.

    Third is Simy Thomas from Kerala who rode 264 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Pratiyodh Agarwal from Telangana for the longest ride. He did a 617 km long ride!

    Next up is Pratik Maniyar from Maharashtra having done a 601 km long ride.

    Third is Hari Raju from Tamil Nadu, who did a 550 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 54 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 41.2 kmph over the week! He was third last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Yogesh Saini from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.5 kmph.

    Third is Kavi Mahajan from Haryana averaging 36.2 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 6563 metres.

    Second is Bike Ride More Live from Manipur who climbed 6517 metres.

    Third is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 6513 metres during the week. He was third last week as well.
