    Week 250 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 16th March 2025.

    Club Stats. 3610 members collectively rode 118094 km in 3159 rides, climbing 599796 metres in 5318 hours!

    The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    4 rode 600s. 29 rode at least a 200.

    78 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    5 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Mohan Galange from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 807 km.

    In second place is Ssrujall Kohale from Maharashtra who rode 801 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Gitanjali Galange from Maharashtra. She rode 797 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 154+ km…
    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 5 less than last week.

    Gitanjali Galange  from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 797 km. She is 3rd overall. She was first last two weeks as well.

    Next up is Sachida Yadav from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 419 km. She is 30th overall. She was third last week.

    Third is Vaishali Pawar from Maharashtra who rode 382 km. She is 35th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Ben Lawrence J from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 609 km long ride!

    Next up is Sounder Vishwanath from Tamil Nadu having done a 606 km long ride.

    Third is Saravanan Thangavel from Tamil Nadu, who did a 602 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 78 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 37 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Yogesh Saini from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.6 kmph.

    Third is KPS Oberoi from Delhi averaging 36.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the mountains of Colombia!

    Climber of the week is Divyam Patel from Canada having climbed 6947 metres.

    Second is Kamlesh Rana from Indian Army who climbed 5230 metres.

    Third is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 4594 metres during the week.
