    Week 255 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 20th April 2025.

    Club Stats. 3632 members collectively rode 118478 km in 3190 rides, climbing 653336 metres in 5324 hours!

    The number of members are up by 6 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 300s. 8 rode at least a 200.

    79 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    10 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 941 km.

    In second place is Ari Karan from Tamil Nadu who rode 765 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Balraj Singh Chauhan from Punjab. He rode 737 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 188+ km…
    There are 6 women in the top 100 this week, 3 less than last week.

    Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 313 km. She is 71st overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 288 km. She is 90th overall.

    Third is Bhavana Dwivedi from Maharashtra who rode 282 km.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from India and around!

    Top spot goes to Santhosh Reddy from Malaysia for the longest ride. He did a 365 km long ride! He was second last week.

    Next up is Ari Karan from Tamil Nadu having done a 300 km long ride.

    Third is Suriya Prakash from Tamil Nadu, who did a 272 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 79 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Kavi Mahajan from Haryana who averaged an incredible 36.6 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Tarun Yadav from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.3 kmph.

    Third is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh averaging 36.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Manipur!

    Climber of the week is Bike Ride More Lives from Manipur having climbed 8935 metres.

    Second is Suriya Prakash from Tamil Nadu who climbed 6137 metres.

    Third is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu, who climbed 6089 metres during the week.
