    Week 266 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 6th July 2025.

    Club Stats. 3680 members collectively rode 106766 km in 2829 rides, climbing 622768 metres in 4929 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    9 rode 400s. 19 rode at least a 200.

    79 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    15 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Pradish Sandanaraj from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 847 km.

    In second place is Parbatsingh Army from Rajasthan who rode 790 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh. He rode 734 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 195+ km…
    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 8 less than last week.

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 420 km. She is 29th overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Anumitha S from Kerala. Who rode an impressive 301 km. She is 78th overall.

    Third is Simy Thomas from Kerala who rode 296 km. She is 83rd overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from Karnataka!

    Top spot goes to Bharaj Raj Nayak from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 429 km long ride!

    Next up is Jayaprakash Narayanasamy from Karnataka having done a 404 km long ride.

    Third is G Jitendra from Karnataka, who did a 402 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 79 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Kavi Mahajan from Haryana who averaged an incredible 36.6 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Yogesh Saini from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.5 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Tushar Bakaya averaging 36.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu having climbed 8326 metres.

    Second is Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra who climbed 7211 metres.

    Third is Ganesh R from Karnataka, who climbed 6985 metres during the week.
