    Week 270 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 3rd August 2025.

    Club Stats. 3696 members collectively rode 98289 km in 2707 rides, climbing 517471 metres in 4529 hours!

    The number of members are up by 6 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 500s. 21 rode at least a 200.

    70 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    10 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Umashankar from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1045 km.

    In second place is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh who rode 843 km in the week. He was second last week as well.

    Third spot is taken by Ganesh R from Karnataka. He rode 722 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 229+ km…
    There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, 4 more than last week.

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 618 km. She is 8th overall.

    Next up is Kirann MTB Rider from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 403 km. She is 30th overall.

    Third is Sachida Yadav from Maharashtra who rode 402 km. She is 31st overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from England!

    Top spot goes to Jayaprakash Narayanasamy from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 513 km long ride!

    Next up is Ganesh R from Karnataka having done a 511 km long ride.

    Third is Sunil Kumar from Karnataka, who did a 649 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 70 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Aashish Massy from Uttar Pradesh who averaged an incredible 40.7 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjay Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 38 kmph.

    Third is Yogesh Saini from Haryana averaging 37.4 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Himalayas!

    Climber of the week is Ajinkya Bodke from Maharahstra having climbed 6497 metres.

    Second is M Peer Mohamed Sardhar from Karnataka who climbed 6008 metres.

    Third is Ganesh R from Karnataka, who climbed 5560 metres during the week.
