    Week 271 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 10th August 2025.

    Club Stats. 3700 members collectively rode 105143 km in 2813 rides, climbing 573601 metres in 4878 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    3 rode 500s. 20 rode at least a 200.

    77 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    7 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Umashankar from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 951 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Atharva Kuberkar from Canada who rode 753 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Krishna Teja from Telangana. He rode 733 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 257+ km…
    There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Charvi Kain from Canada was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 483 km. She is 19th overall.

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 474 km. She is 25th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Swati Sablok from Punjab who rode 442 km. She is 28th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Sunil Kumar from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 521 km long ride! He was third last week.

    Next up is Ganesh R from Karnataka having done a 516 km long ride. He was second last week as well.

    Third is Jayaprakash N from Karnataka, who did a 516 km long ride. He was first last week.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 77 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh who averaged an incredible 39 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Aashish Massy from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.7 kmph. He was first last week.

    Third is Sangam Pattnaik from Chandigarh averaging 36.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Umashankar from Tamil Nadu having climbed 8654 metres.

    Second is Faisal Qadir from Ladakh who climbed 7199 metres.

    Third is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra, who climbed 5839 metres during the week.
