Week 283 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 2nd November 2025.
The number of members are up by 1 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.
8 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.
1 rode a 1200. 66 rode at least a 200.
81 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.
20 climbed more than 4000 metres.
Incredible riding by everyone.

Leaderboard: Overall

Hitesh Sablok from Haryana was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1204 km.
In second place is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu who rode 903 km in the week. He was third last week.
Third spot is taken by Narendra Mishra from Delhi. He rode 800 km.
Leaderboard: Women
The women’s leaderboard got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 237+ km…
There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week. Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 709 km. She is 8th overall.
Next up is Rekha S from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 547 km. She is 26th overall.
Third is Megha Jain from Punjab who rode 531 km. She is 28th overall.

Rides this week coming in from around the country!
Top spot goes to Hitesh Sablok from Haryana for the longest ride. He did a 1204 km long ride!
Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana having done a 651 km long ride.
Third is Malhar Sant from Maharashtra, who did a 640 km long ride.
Leaderboard: Fastest
The top 81 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.
Fastest of the lot is Tushar Bakaya from Haryana who averaged an incredible 37.2 kmph over the week! He was second last week.
Second fastest for the week is Tarun Yadav from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.1 kmph.
Third is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu averaging 36.7 kmph over the week.
Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain
The climbing leaderboard went to all the Western Ghats!
Climber of the week is Achyutha Krishnan from Tamil Nadu having climbed 6528 metres. He was first last week as well.
Second is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who climbed 6414 metres.
Third is Jaya Chandran from Tami Nadu, who climbed 6221 metres during the week.
