    Week 291 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 28th December 2025.

    Club Stats. 3805 members collectively rode 111100 km in 2657 rides, climbing 643080 metres in 5121 hours!

    The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all constant.

    11 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 1000s. 27 rode at least a 200.

    62 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    23 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    11 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1433 km.

    In second place is Kishan Go from Maharashtra who rode 1069 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra. He rode 1041 km.

    Leaderboard: Women


    The women’s leaderboard got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 222+ km…
    There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, 2 more than last week.

    Sachida Yadav from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 467 km. She is 30th overall. She was first last three weeks as well.

    Next up is Smital Patel from Gujarat. Who rode an impressive 445 km. She is 34th overall.

    Third is Pradnya Ajagar from Maharashtra who rode 408 km. She is 48th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride


    Rides this week coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 1009 km long ride!

    Next up is Kishan Go from Maharashtra having done a 1003 km long ride.

    Third is Ripunjay Gogoi from Assam, who did a 610 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest


    The top 62 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 40.1 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Mayank Tripathi from Canada whose weekly average is a fantastic 39 kmph.

    Third is Suryakanta Dalai from Odisha averaging 36.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain


    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vignesh Sekar from Tamil Nadu having climbed 10324 metres.

    Second is Joel Sundaram from Tamil Nadu who climbed 9249 metres.

    Third is Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra, who climbed 6783 metres during the week.
