      Week 114 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 7th August 2022.

      Club Stats. 2312 members collectively rode 103210 km in 2899 rides, climbing 548307 metres in 4843 hours!

      The number of members are up by 26 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

      To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 249 km during the week!

      There were 2 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

      3 rode 500s, 4 rode 400s, 19 rode at least a 200.

      44 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 8 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

      Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

      Leaderboard: Overall

      2 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

      Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 823 km.

      In second place is Jein Varghese from Kerala who rode 755 km in the week. He was second last week as well.

      Third spot is taken by Sharath Devaiah from Karnataka. He rode 684 km.

      The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 219+ km…

      Hema Dhakad from Madhya Pradesh was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 613 km. She is 8th overall.

      Next up is Misha Brar from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 471 km. She is 18th overall.

      Third is Swati Sablok from Maharashtra who rode 285 km. She is 74th overall.

      There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 8 less than last week.

      Leaderboard: Longest Ride

      Some BIG rides coming in from Tamil Nadu.

      Top spot goes to Ganesh Raj Gunasekar from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 570 km long ride!

      Next up is Dhananjayan from Tamil Nadu having done a 562 km long ride.

      Third is Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu, who did a 561 km long ride.

      Leaderboard: Fastest

      The top 44 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

      Fastest of the lot is Synclair D’Souza from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 40.6 kmph over the week!

      Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 39.3 kmph.

      Third is Sandeep Pillai from Maharashtra averaging 35.6 kmph over the week.

      The climbing leaderboard went to the state of West Bengal!

      Climber of the week is Biswadip Nag from West Bengal having climbed 6385 metres.

      Second is Ganesh R from Karnataka who climbed 5324 metres.

        Week 113 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 31st July 2022.

        Club Stats. 2286 members collectively rode 110328 km in 3071 rides, climbing 571190 metres in 5248 hours!

        The number of members are up by 13 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

        To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 271 km during the week!

        There were 3 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

        4 rode 600s, 3 rode 400s, 18 rode at least a 200.

        55 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 9 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.
