    Week 89 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 13th February 2022.

    Club Stats. 1786 members collectively rode 117602 km in 3106 rides, climbing 588236 metres in 5445 hours!

    The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 307 km during the week!

    There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    2 rode 1200s, 4 rode 600s, 46 rode at least a 200.

    52 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 12 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    9 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1346 km.

    In second place is Arun Kumaraswamy from Tamil Nadu who rode 1264 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh. He rode 883 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten even more competitive. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 167+ km…

    Rajikrishna Nair from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 654 km. She is 11th overall. She has been at the top for the last two weeks.

    Next up is Megha Jain from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 469 km. She is 33rd overall.

    Third is Vidhya Hari from Karnataka who rode 412 km. She is 52nd overall.

    There are 9 women in the top 100 this week, 7 less than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Brevets are happening around the country.

    Top spot goes to Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1207 km long ride!

    Next up is Arun Kumarasamy from Tamil Nadu having done a 1200 km long ride as well.

    Third is Mukul Aggarwal from Delhi, who did a 692 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 52 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Hemings from Karnataka who averaged an incredible 38.3 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Aravindh Panneerchelvam from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.1 kmph.

    Third is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu averaging 34.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to those riding in Karnataka!

    Climber of the week is Arun Kumarasamy from Tamil Nadu having climbed 16885 metres.

    Second is Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka who climbed 13757 metres.

    Third is Eldhose Emson from Kerala, who climbed 7648 metres during the week.
