Week 95 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 27th March 2022.
Club Stats. 1881 members collectively rode 105465 km in 2981 rides, climbing 555833 metres in 4847 hours!
The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more or less the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all constant.
To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 270 km during the week!
There were 8 who averaged more than 100 km a day!
2 rode 1200s, 8 rode a 300s, 34 rode at least a 200.
51 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 9 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.
Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

8 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.
Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1231 km.
In second place is Sujith from Kerala who rode 1214 km in the week.
Third spot is taken by Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh. He rode 880 km.

The women’s leaderboard has gotten competitive. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 178+ km…
Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1231 km. She is 1st overall.
Next up is Ishika Gupta from Delhi. Who rode an impressive 437 km. She is 26th overall.
Third is Thilaga Sekar from Tamil Nadu who rode 398 km. She is 35th overall.

Brevets are happening around the country. Big Brevets.
Top spot goes to Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala for the longest ride. She did a 1221 km long ride!
Next up is Sujith from Kerala having done a 1214 km long ride.
Third is Mathew Tom from Kerala, who did a 714 km long ride.
Leaderboard: Fastest
The top 51 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace. The top two switched places.
Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 40.9 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.
Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 40.9 kmph. He was first last two weeks.
Third is Midhun George from Canada averaging 38.4 kmph over the week.

The climbing leaderboard went to Karnataka and a full everesting attempt.
Climber of the week is Jaya Prakash N from Karnataka having climbed 9769 metres. He went for a full everesting attempt.
