    Week 112 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 24th July 2022.

    Club Stats. 2273 members collectively rode 101193 km in 2947 rides, climbing 528602 metres in 4846 hours!

    The number of members are up by 22 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 253 km during the week!

    There was 1 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    4 rode 400s, 13 rode at least a 200.

    55 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 5 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    1 rider averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Atchut Yalavarthi from Telangana was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1014 km.

    In second place is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu who rode 698 km in the week. He was third last week.

    Third spot is taken by Varun Kamath from Karnataka. He rode 689 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 205+ km…

    Lavanya Reddy from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 569 km. She is 7th overall.

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 499 km. She is 17th overall.

    Third is Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat who rode 410 km. She is 29th overall.

    There are 17 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some BIG rides coming in from Kerala and Gujarat.

    Top spot goes to Vysakh R from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 416 km long ride!

    Next up is Shain from Kerala having done a 412 km long ride.

    Third is Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat, who did a 410 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 55 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Aniket Jagtap from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 41.7 kmph over the week! He was third last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 39.4 kmph. He was second last two weeks.

    Third is Srivatsan Sridhar from Tamil Nadu averaging 36.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats surrounding Satara!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 10206 metres.

    Second is Vibhav Shinde from Maharashtra who climbed 5170 metres.

    Third is Bhandari G from Uttarakhand, who climbed 4639 metres during the week.
