    Week 113 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 31st July 2022.

    Club Stats. 2286 members collectively rode 110328 km in 3071 rides, climbing 571190 metres in 5248 hours!

    The number of members are up by 13 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 271 km during the week!

    There were 3 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    4 rode 600s, 3 rode 400s, 18 rode at least a 200.

    55 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 9 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Mrudul K from Kerala was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1567 km.

    In second place is Jein Varghese from Kerala who rode 1402 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Moideenkutty VC from Kerala. He rode 1116 km.

    Excellent by the boys from Kerala!

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 255+ km…

    Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 423 km. She is 24th overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 388 km. She is 39th overall.

    Third is Ishika Gupta from Delhi who rode 361 km. She is 47th overall.

    There are 22 women in the top 100 this week, 5 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some BIG rides coming in from Tamil Nadu.

    Top spot goes to Benedict Charles from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 607.6 km long ride!

    Next up is Ben Lawrence J from Tamil Nadu having done a 607.5 km long ride.

    Third is Saravana Thangavel from Tamil Nadu, who did a 605 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 55 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 39.4 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Mayank Tripathi from Canada whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.6 kmph.

    Third is Sharath Devaiah from Karnataka averaging 37.2 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the state of Kerala!

    Climber of the week is Mrudul K from Kerala having climbed 7445 metres.

    Second is Jein Varghese from Kerala who climbed 7385 metres.

    Third is Prince from Assam, who climbed 6410 metres during the week.
