    Week 119 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 11th September 2022.

    Club Stats. 2395 members collectively rode 94117 km in 2849 rides, climbing 494266 metres in 4450 hours!

    The number of members are up by 8 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 246 km during the week!

    There were 5 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    5 rode 600s, 3 rode 400s, 5 rode 300s, 25 rode at least a 200.

    56 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 10 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Jineesh Kumar from USA was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1266 km.

    In second place is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh who rode 1083 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Deepak Sooraj from Tamil Nadu. He rode 836 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 203+ km…

    Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 654 km. She is 9th overall.

    Next up is Lorraine D’Costa from Kerala. Who rode an impressive 438 km. She is 23rd overall. She was second last week as well.

    Third is Jui Inamdar from Maharashtra who rode 355 km. She is 43rd overall.

    There are 17 women in the top 100 this week, same as last two weeks.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Top spot goes to Jineesh Kumar from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 1213 km long ride!

    Next up is Atharv Kamavisdar from Madhya Pradesh having done a 608 km long ride.

    Third is Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat, who did a 602 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 56 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 39 kmph over the week! He was first last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjeev Ramki from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.1 kmph.

    Third is Shrey Agarwal from Delhi averaging 34.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the USA!

    Climber of the week is Jineesh Kumar from USA having climbed 8022 metres.

    Second is Anil Gurung from Uttarakhand who climbed 6872 metres.

    Third is RJ Mesak from Mizoram, who climbed 5986 metres during the week.
