    Week 122 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 2nd October 2022.

    Club Stats. 2447 members collectively rode 117505 km in 3262 rides, climbing 621478 metres in 5513 hours!

    The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 287 km during the week!

    There were 5 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    2 rode 600s, 10 rode 400s, 3 rode 300s, 35 rode at least a 200.

    60 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 12 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 970 km.

    In second place is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu who rode 861 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Mrudul K from Kerala. He rode 793 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 226+ km…

    Nithya R from Karnataka was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 602 km. She is 10th overall.

    Next up is Shravya Pare from Karnataka. Who rode an impressive 541 km. She is 14th overall.

    Third is Rajikrishna R Nair from Maharashtra who rode 501 km. She is 18th overall.

    There are 19 women in the top 100 this week, 6 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some long rides coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Jomon CD from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 620 km long ride!

    Next up is Nithya R from Karnataka having done a 602 km long ride.

    Third is Murali Iyer from Karnataka, who did a 525 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 60 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ravishankar from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 37.5 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.4 kmph.

    Third is Mayank Tripathi from Canada averaging 36.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Mizoram, again!

    Climber of the week is Dintlunga H from Mizoram having climbed 6162 metres.

    Second is Shravya Pare from Karnataka who climbed 6088 metres.

    Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 5878 metres during the week.
