    Week 123 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 9th October 2022.

    Club Stats. 2454 members collectively rode 117609 km in 3238 rides, climbing 633,188 metres in 5542 hours!

    The number of members are up by 7 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more or less the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all flat.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 279 km during the week!

    There were 6 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    5 rode 600s, 9 rode 400s, 6 rode 300s, 48 rode at least a 200.

    58 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 13 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Atchut Yalavarthi from Telangana was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1215 km.

    In second place is Ravishashtri from Uttar Pradesh who rode 1007 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Mrudul K from Kerala. He rode 993 km. He was third last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 178+ km…

    Navalpreet Kaur from Uttar Pradesh was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 683 km. She is 7th overall.

    Next up is Swati Sablok from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 336 km. She is 68th overall.

    Third is Lena Elizabeth Korah from Kerala who rode 301 km. She is 86th overall.

    There are 9 women in the top 100 this week, 10 less than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some long rides coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Atchut Yalavarthi from Telangana for the longest ride. He did a 669 km long ride!

    Next up is Ravishashtri from Uttar Pradesh having done a 646 km long ride.

    Third is Navalpreet Kaur from Uttar Pradesh, who did a 613 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 58 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 39 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Mayank Tripathi from Canada whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.2 kmph. He was third last week.

    Third is Yajat Gulati from Delhi averaging 36.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Maharashtra!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 8762 metres. He was third last week.

    Second is RJ Mesak from Mizoram who climbed 6989 metres.

    Third is Harsh Tomar from Jammu & Kashmir, who climbed 6229 metres during the week.
